Halloween is widely celebrated in Wizard101 as one of the favorite Holidays around! Besides the renowned Halloween Towers, there's Spooky Bob, Halloween drops and items, Halloween quests, and this year they surprised us with something - the Nightmare Pack!

While Halloween is only just arriving in real life, it's nearly come to a close in Wizard101, ending October 31st! Grab your goodies while you can, because Spooky Bob and his friends will be leaving the Spiral soon!

While the Nightmare Pack won't be leaving until November 6th, it is definitely retiring, though I think we'll see it back next year during October. Could this be a precedent for future Holiday packs?

While Halloween can be plenty of fun with the candy and costumes (and buying and handing out candy maybe less so for some of us. Did you know that the average American spends over $73 on Halloween each year?), but it also comes with it's share of risks, so here are some tips for safe Trick-or-Treating!

• Avoid Trick-or-Treating alone. Walk in groups or with a trusted adult.
• Be aware of drivers and if necessary, fasten reflective tape to costumes.
• Examine all treats before consumption - Is the treat opened? Does it appear unsafe in any way?
• WALK from house to house and carry a flashlight if you'll be out after dark.
• Any masks, shoes, or costumes should fit well to avoid tripping and falling.
• Never enter someone else's home unless you're with a trusted adult.
• Be careful with costumes near open flames.
